Our constant vigilance in aligning our programs with the expectations of the recruitment market has enabled us to maintain excellent job placement rates for our young graduates year after year.

In our latest survey on the professional integration of our graduates, we achieved a rate of 94% at 3 months.

The 3 professionalization paths at IAE Aix

Each student can build his or her own professionalization pathway by choosing from 3 possible options: work-study, internship and entrepreneurship.

  • Which students are eligible for a work-study contract?

    The following conditions must be met to qualify for an apprenticeship contract:

    • Must be between 16 and 29 years of age at the start of the contract
    • No age limit for disabled people and top-level athletes
    • Be in initial training
    • Be a national of the European Economic Area
    • For non-EU nationals, a residence permit and a registered CERFA are required, plus additional conditions.

    The conditions of eligibility for a professionalization contract are as follows:

    • Be a national of the European Economic Area
    • For non-EU nationals, you must have been in the country for at least 1 year, be under 26 years of age, and have applied for a temporary work permit.

    Students with continuing education status and students from the ENSAM partnership can only sign a professionalization contract.

  • How much does a work-study contract cost the company?

    For the company, the cost of a work-study contract has two components:

    • participation in financing the training ;
    • remuneration of the apprentice.

      • for a 1-year contract: from 04/09/2023 to 30/09/2024
      • for a 2-year contract: from 04/09/2023 to 30/09/2025

  • What kind of assistance is available for work-study students?

    Housing assistance for work-study students:

    • Personalized housing assistance (APL). Personalized housing assistance (APL) is paid by the Caisse d'Allocations Familiales or the MSA. It is a financial aid designed to reduce your rent. As a work-study student, you are eligible for this assistance. The conditions for entitlement differ depending on whether you are renting or living in a hostel.
    • mobili-jeune" housing. This aid, independent of the APL, facilitates access to housing for students on work-study contracts. You must be under 30 years of age and working for a private company. The date on which you sign your lease must coincide with your training period. The amount will be based on your salary. Visit the Action Logement website.

    CARTE ZOU

    Worth 110 euros, this card gives you free travel to and from your place of study on buses (LER) and trains (TER).

    NB: RTM and TGV not concerned for the moment.

    Employer contribution to transport costs

    Your company will reimburse half the cost of your season ticket, as "all employers, regardless of the location of their business, are now obliged to cover part of the cost of season tickets purchased by employees for travel between their usual place of residence and their place of work, using public transport or bicycle hire services" (Decree no. 2008-1501).

    The activity bonus

    Work-study students over the age of 18 are eligible under certain conditions (in particular, remuneration must exceed €982.48). Applications can be made via a teleservice or to the CAF or CMSA.

Every year, the IAE Aix signs over 800 internship agreements in France and abroad, enabling students to gain essential professional experience and become fully operational as soon as they graduate. All our programs include internships lasting from 3 to 6 months, at the beginning, during and at the end of the course.

In 2020, IAE Aix created a new professionalization pathway based on its expertise in entrepreneurship: the entrepreneurship pathway. In 2024, the MSc in Entrepreneurship & Innovation was also launched.

How does IAE Aix support its students in their professionalization?

A dedicated team

The CAREER & CORPORATE CENTER is there to support you throughout your professionalization process. Every effort is made to help each participant achieve his or her career goals in the best possible conditions.

  • A JOBTEASER platform to consult job offers and submit CVs.
  • Meetings with regional, national and international recruiters in the form of conferences (Career Days) and recruitment forums,
  • Access to the Alumni network (over 21,000)
  • Access to the Highered and Goinglobal networks (internships in the USA and worldwide)
  • Contacts with the network of experts (463 experts, including 60 international IAE graduates - contacts by sector, country and area of expertise).

    The Career Day dedicated to Master 1 students: "Raconte toi". The aim of this day is to help our students professionalize their application tools, such as CVs, professional social media and personal pitch. We want this day to be led by professionals like you.
