THE LAB ICUBE'S MISSIONS

Created in 2017, the Lab ICube aims to support the public learners of the IAE Aix-Marseille in the realization of their professional project.

Its main missions are to:

  • Enable all students to acquire the managerial and leadership skills of the future.
  • Promote intrapreneurship.
  • Sow the seeds of entrepreneurship.
  • Accompany project leaders to help them formalize their project and verify its feasibility and viability.

LAB ICUBE'S ACTIONS

The proposed actions are based on an engaging pedagogical approach and allow to experiment the entrepreneurial process.

From the beginning of their training, students are involved in two complementary activities: La Grande Kermesse and WEICUBE (Weekend at IAE Aix-Marseille for Innovation In vivo). These two actions aim on the one hand to make them aware of entrepreneurship but also to allow them to initiate the managerial and leadership skills that are now essential in all professional environments - from start-ups to large groups.

  • The Great Fair

The workshops offered by speakers from various backgrounds (management, environment, culture, etc.) provide students with the elements that enable them to build their own learning model during the WEICUBE:

    • tools to help them carry out their project with a sufficient degree of autonomy
    • essential life skills to optimize teamwork and interaction with mentors
  • The WEICUBE

During this event, students live the experience of a start-up creation in team. Their mission is to produce a viable business model for an innovative idea and are accompanied by coaches and experts mostly from the IAE Aix-Marseille Alumni network. At the end of the weekend, each team pitches its project in front of a jury of professionals.

In the course of its training, Lab ICube has set up an entrepreneurship program (PE) whose mission is to help an entrepreneurial project to take shape and grow.

This course, which replaces the 1st or 2nd year internship, is intended for students who have an entrepreneurial project. The objective is to allow them to test the feasibility and viability of this project and formalize it for the incubation phase.

Students are accompanied for 6 months by a pair composed of an academic and a professional advisor from the IAE Aix-Marseille Alumni network. They also have the opportunity to apply for the national student-entrepreneur status with the PEPITE commitment committee.

During their training, participants conduct an "Executive Entrepreneurial Project (E2P)". This activity, designed and led by Lab ICube, aims to equip participants with the mindset and skills needed to launch and lead entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial projects.

Throughout the process, participants lead a project as a team and are accompanied by a variety of speakers - coaches, academic and professional experts, artists, etc.

At the end of the project, the teams present their project to a jury from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
