Building a management foundation

During their MSc 1 year, students reinforce or acquire basic knowledge in management and build a tailor-made program according to the specialization they plan to follow in MSc 2. They have access to specific support and tutoring resources to help them build their profile.

They also benefit from a distance learning platform where over 300 modules in French and English are available.

Professionalization

Students have the opportunity to work in a professional situation through long-term internships and work-study contracts. These are facilitated by in-company events organized by the school (apprenticeship meetings, internship and job forums, career days).

An international outlook

Finally, the IAE's vast network of partners offers a wide range of destinations for studying at a university abroad and internationalizing your profile. The profile of students in this program is varied: graduates in management and economics with a background in management rub shoulders with scientists as well as lawyers or students of languages or literature.

Specializing

On completion of MSc1, students enter one of the 9 MSc2 specializations offered by the IAE. The choice of specialization is made at the time of application, and guarantees the student a place in the MSc2 of his/her choice. Students are then supported throughout their MSc1 to confirm or change their choice.

    A wide choice of specializations is offered at the end of MSc 1, two of which are taught entirely in English:

The different formulas available:

  • Courses in French or English
  • with internship or apprenticeship
  • with or without a gap year

    (depending on the student's profile and the need for additional professional experience)
  • with or without international mobility at a partner university abroad

    (depending on the student's profile and previous international experience).

During the interview prior to admission to the IAE, the program managers will propose a course of study based on the candidate's profile.

International course

Mandatory if no significant international experience (minimum 3 months abroad in previous student program).

ADMISSION

  • Admission requirements

    The MSc 1 can be taken as an initial or continuing training course, and is open to all holders of 180 ECTS obtained as part of a Bachelor's degree or a European diploma. Admission to the first year of the MSc is also possible for international students holding a diploma equivalent in level (Bac+3) or credits, as well as for people who have benefited from a VAE.

    Recruitment is based on an online application on our website.

    The application includes

    • Management aptitude tests: TAGE MAGE or IAE Score Message (or GMAT in English)
    • English language tests: TOEFL, TOEIC Listening and Reading, IELTS
    • information or documents relating to your career plans, previous studies, internships or positions held...

    Eligible candidates will be auditioned by a panel of judges.

    A partnership with the IUT d'Aix-Marseille enables students wishing to do a year of DUETI (Bac + 3, Bachelor's degree abroad) to enter the IAE at their own pace. and join the IAE on their returnto apply in their second year of IUT to be selected before their departure abroad.

    Student price

    • MSc in 2 years: €8,400.
    • Entry to 2nd year MSc (1 year): €4 ,800.

    Rates for executives

    • MScen2 years: €20,000.
    • Entry to 2nd year MSc (1 year): €12,000.
