"My name is Annilyn Bustamante, I am 26 years old and I am originally from the Philippines. My profile could perhaps be considered atypical: I have worked in financial services, clothing retail and HR consulting in the space of 6 years.
As a Francophile, I always dreamed of pursuing my higher education in France. I chose IAE Aix-Marseille not only for the value for money of its program (#1 in France in terms of ROI, according to the Financial Times) but also for its commitment to promote humanistic leadership. I truly believe that we need more compassionate leaders today to foster social change.
To be considered for the Eiffel Excellence Fellowship, I had to submit my application about a year in advance. In fact, I started inquiring with IAE Aix-Marseille around June 2021 for the September 2022 start of the school year. It was a necessary step to give me enough time to prepare all the necessary documents. This process would take time, so I encourage future applicants to the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship to do the same.
Thanks to the responsiveness and the unfailing support of the IAE admissions team, the constitution of my file was easy to follow. I first had to convince the jury of the coherence of my professional project before they would endorse my profile with Campus France. In March 2022, I received the scholarship notification that would later change the course of my life. I am truly grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to learning more from the expertise of my classmates and professors."

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is a program developed by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract the best international students in master and doctorate level degree programs. It helps train future international decision-makers from the private and public sectors in priority fields of study and stimulates applications from students from emerging countries.
