Les Aixquises, the emblematic cheerleading team of IAE Aix-Marseille, has been animating for several years the sports matches in which our students participate as well as the school's major events. Tryphène, MSc 2 communication student and head of the Aixquises presents the team and their actions:
"We are a team of 18 pompoms (girls), from different classes of MSc1 and MSc2. We train once or twice a week in order to prepare a show to animate the games of the IAE sports teams. We cheer during the game, and do our choreography at halftime of the basketball, soccer, and rugby games.
This year, we were also present at the International Festival of IAE on November 25th and at the Awake evening (evening of presentation of talents - music, dance etc...) organized by the BDE on December 1st.
We organize two or three bake sales during the semester, in order to finance our outfits and pompoms, which are not covered by the BDS.
The objective of the Aixquises is to allow the pompoms to have a physical activity throughout the semester, to have fun, and to propose at the end of the year a show during the different occasions that arise."
