The Executive Master in Management is aimed at managers, executives and entrepreneurs who wish to redirect their professional careers, move up to positions of greater responsibility, or develop an activity, a business or a company on a more solid footing. The program aims to share a renewed vision of business, and to pass on managerial tools, methods and practices directly applicable to different professional environments.

  • A diploma course delivered by a leading university business school

    IAE Aix-Marseille is part of Aix-Marseille University, the world's largest French-speaking multidisciplinary university, renowned for the excellence of its training and research. Since it was founded in 1955, the IAE Aix-Marseille has been helping local companies to train their staff in management and leadership skills, as well as supporting executives in their career development. In 1999, the school became the first French university business school to receive EQUIS accreditation, an independent label awarded to only 215 business schools worldwide. The IAE is included in the Financial Times' ranking of the best business schools, and ranks first for value for money. The IAE Aix-Marseille Executive Master's program therefore benefits fully from antimulant environments capable of accelerating personal and professional careers.

  • Training tailored to working professionals

    The pace of the course enables you to reconcile your studies, personal life and professional life. Classes are held every 15 days at the Puyricard site on Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm, Fridays from 9am to 8pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. The course design offers real flexibility. The Executive Master is made up of 5 blocks of knowledge and skills. These 5 blocks can be delivered in the form of certificates and taken independently of each other (see content).

  • Training for understanding, realization and commitment

    In keeping with IAE Aix-Marseille's mission, Empowering Humanistic Leadership, and aligned with its values of respect, high standards, avant-garde and consistency, the Executive Master pursues three major objectives:
    - Understand the principles and fundamentals of management through a 360° vision of the company
    - Commit to sustainable business, with the notion of sustainability running through all modules.

    - Achieve self-fulfillment by developing your leadership skills and reinforcing your managerial posture.

  • Training driven by diversity

    Diversity is the cornerstone of the Executive Master program. Each graduating class is made up of a wide variety of profiles, in terms of background, training, professional and personal projects. Engineers, managers from major corporations, directors of social and community organizations, entrepreneurs, lawyers, civil servants, all share their experiences, debate the practices and perspectives presented by the lecturers, and gradually shape their own business and managerial vision. This diversity is further enhanced by the fact that, over 18 months, 3 different classes come together. Beyond the diversity of the participants, it is also the diversity of the speakers, both academic and professional, that is particularly appreciated.

The Executive Master consists of 5 blocks of knowledge and skills. These 5 blocks can be delivered in the form of certificates, and taken independently of each other.

Group work is an integral part of all courses, enabling students to go beyond the work to be carried out, and get to grips with group analysis and decision-making, the application of collective intelligence and the mobilization of group dynamics. These skills are particularly relevant to the two projects, Foresight & Management and Entrepreneurship, Intrapreneurship and Repreneurship. Graduation is subject to individual assessment, group work and course attendance.

The Executive Master in Management offers complementary managerial skills to professionals with strong initial skills. This much sought-after and much-appreciated dual skill set can be used, depending on the individual's project:

- reorient a professional career ;

- access positions of greater responsibility;

- develop an activity, a business or a company.
