The founders of IAE Aix-Marseille built the institute on the model of the best American business schools in the mid-20th century. Since its inception, internationalization has naturally played a central role in IAE Aix-Marseille's strategy and teaching methods. Today, the school has more than 50 collaboration agreements with partner universities on every continent, enabling it to offer excellent management courses in a complex, constantly changing and inherently international environment. In addition to our English-language degree programs, at IAE we see internationalization as a way of preparing our participants for their future careers, so all our programs recruit international participants and feature international lecturers. In addition, our participants are encouraged to build and strengthen their international outlook through foreign exchanges, study trips, international internships and double degrees.

TRAIN MANAGERS WHO ARE COMFORTABLE EVOLVING IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT
IAE is also committed to helping students improve their language skills with a view to international careers.
Before the start of the academic year (intensive seminar) and during the semester, the school offers language courses (French, English, Chinese, Spanish, German) across all programs.
-
International seminars
International seminars in English (45) with speakers from partner schools and universities are also offered, as well as a wide range of "electives" in English. Similarly, an e-learning platform offers over 300 training modules available in French and English, enabling students to expand their knowledge and build a CV in line with their career plans.
This enables international students and teachers to enrich their networks and gain a fresh perspective on cultural differences. The School also welcomes a large number of visiting professors for teaching and/or research periods of 1 to 6 months.

Exchange program
International exposure is a must for future managers, who will often have to work in internationalized companies and adapt to complex situations. IAE Aix-Marseille encourages student mobility, both for internships and for study periods (exchange programs) at partner universities abroad. The IAE Aix-Marseille enjoys a worldwide university network that also includes the prestigious partners of Aix-Marseille Université's CIVIS Alliance. Students from partner universities are carefully selected to spend their exchange semester on the IAE Aix-Marseille campus in Aix-en-Provence.

IAE Aix Marseille, with its Equis accreditation, has been part of the EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development) network since 1999. All the school's international consortiums are initiated from this network, in collaboration with the best accredited Business Schools. EFMD is a network of 30,000 management professionals from academia, business, the civil service and consulting firms. These schools and companies aim to develop socially responsible leaders and managers. IAE Aix-Marseille is strongly identified with this network for the development of its global approach to management education, research and continuous innovation for best practices in this field.

THE MEDITERRANEAN NETWORK OF ENGINEERING SCHOOLS (RMEI)
The Réseau Méditerranéen des Ecoles d'Ingénieurs was created in June 1997 on the initiative of the Groupe Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Marseille (ESIM), an establishment of the CCI Marseille-Provence. In 2001, the RMEI became a component of the Communauté des Universités de la Méditerranée (CUM), an official body of UNESCO, bringing together engineering schools and technological universities.
Since its inception, the RMEI has sought to capitalize on the specific assets of the Mediterranean region, focusing on greater efficiency through the networking of Grandes Ecoles, universities and other partners around the Mediterranean: a historic, multicultural Mediterranean identity, around a sea that is a vector of trade and economic activity, the cradle of great civilizations and great changes (Renaissance, etc.); a current crossroads of cultures and exchanges, a source of creativity; a unique, strategic position as an interface between Europe, Africa and the Orient.
Joining the RMEIM network enables IAE to become part of a dynamic international network (involved in Erasmus +, H2020)". The aim for our school is to keep abreast of and learn from the practices of the best engineering schools (ECM, INSA Lyon, Politecnico Milano, Cairo University), and eventually establish double degrees. It will also enable us to align ourselves with AMU's international development strategy in the Mediterranean region.
THE INTERNATIONAL TEACHERS PROGRAMME (ITP) CONSORTIUM
