    Bus number 40 (departures every 15–30 minutes until midnight)

    Tickets: €5.80 (bus) 

    Journey times: 30–40 minutes, depending on traffic

    It is also possible to take a train to Aix-en-Provence center (€6/€8 for young/standard fare)

    Bus number 11 (from the “IAE Aix-Marseille” stop)

    You can also take the bus from the stop next to the bus station or the Rotonde from the Belges Gare Routière and Rotonde Poste stops. Bus numbers 12 and 13 also come to the village of Puyricard (with a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the school). Bus stops offering multiple connections can be found at Niollon in Aix-en-Provence and Salle des Fêtes Puyricard. These buses are very frequent and go to Aix-en-Provence or Puyricard. 

    Tickets: €1.10 (one way), €2 (round trip). 

    Journey times: 30–50 minutes, depending on traffic.

     

  • Access by car

    By freeway from Lyon-Paris 

    • Take the “Aix ouest” exit
    • Take Aix center
    • At the big traffic circle, take the long avenue. After the traffic lights, turn left onto the expressway (there is a footbridge across it) toward Avignon (road N 296a).
    • Take a right turn after the fire station toward “Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard” (“route des Alpes” - road N 296).
    • At the top of the bypass, take the Puyricard exit and follow the signs to the village, then carry on to IAE Aix-Marseille (D 14).



    Access by N7

    • Direction for Aix-en-Provence by the N7 road.
    • 9 km after Saint-Cannat, at La petite Calade, turn left and take the D 63 to Puyricard.
    • Access by the north highway from Marseille
    • Take the freeway toward Aix-en-Provence.
    • Do not take the exits to Aix-en-Provence. Instead, continue toward Avignon when the route changes to a fast road (N 296a).
    • After the fire station on your right, turn right toward “Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard” (on “route des Alpes” - N 296).
    • At the top of the bypass, take the exit “Puyricard” and follow the indications to reach the village, then carry on to IAE Aix-Marseille (D 14).

    Access by the A8 freeway from Nice

    • Leave the A8 to take the direction of Sisteron (“Aix ouest” exit).
    • Do not take the exits to Aix-en-Provence but continue on the freeway in the direction of Avignon, which will then turn into an expressway (N 296a).
    • After the fire station, visible on the right, turn right toward “Gap / Digne les Bains / Pertuis / Puyricard” (route des Alpes - N 296).
    • At the top of the bypass, take the “Puyricard” exit and follow the signs to the village, then the IAE Aix-Marseille (D 14).

    Access by the Sisteron–Gap road from the Alps

    • Take the N 96 toward Aix-en-Provence.
    • After Venelles, turn right (before the level crossing) in the direction of Eguilles (N 63), then follow this road to Puyricard.
    • Or take the A 51 in the direction of Aix-en-Provence until it becomes the N 296.
    • Or take the Puyricard exit then follow the signs to the village (D 14).
  • Access by train

    • From the Aix-en-Provence TGV station on the Arbois plateau, you can reach Lyon in one hour and Paris-Gare de Lyon in under three hours.
    • The Marseille-Saint-Charles station is served by the TGV Méditerranée (15 daily connections with Paris, including 11 by fast train). The journey time by TGV is about 3 hours 10 minutes. Once in Aix-en-Provence, take a bus or a taxi.
    • The train station in Aix-en-Provence provides a connection to Marseille-Saint-Charles with a journey time of about 35 minutes.
  • Access by air

    The Marseille Provence International Airport, the third largest airport in France (by passenger numbers), is about 30 minutes from IAE Aix-Marseille.
