The development of universities has accelerated in recent years with the support of the Investments for the Future program and the Excellence Initiative. In 2021, those programs enabled AMU to obtain the largest budget of any French university. IAE Aix-Marseille’s presence within the university promotes the development of multidisciplinary research projects and a culture of scientific excellence. AMU operates in an innovative ecosystem with the support of projects such as CISAM +, SATT, and the Impulse incubator. This unique environment bring today’s research closer to the business world than ever before and magnifies the role of research in management.
CERGAM is one of the most important management sciences research centers in France. CERGAM provides its members with scientific and material support. Its doctoral students in management sciences are enrolled in doctoral schools, with 372 students at AMU and 509 at the University of Toulon.
