The Executive Master in General Management offers a complementary managerial skill to professionals with a strong initial skill. This much sought-after and appreciated dual competence allows, depending on individual projects

The strengths of the programme

1) The excellence of a university education. The IAE Aix-Marseille is among the 150 best business schools in the world thanks to its EQUIS accreditation, occupies the first place in France in the Financial Times ranking on the criterion of return on investment and was ranked 16th in the world in CEO Magazine.

2) The reputation and recognition of the programme. This programme in general management, dedicated to working professionals, was the first programme offered by the IAE Aix-Marseille since its creation in 1955. Widely recognised by companies and all socio-economic actors, it benefits from a network of over 20,000 graduates.

3) The flexibility of a part-time programme. The Executive Master offers courses spread over two years, with an intensive integration week followed by three days every fortnight (Thursday 5pm-8pm, Friday 9am-7.30pm and Saturday 9am-1pm).

  • Project

    The production of a monograph (cross-disciplinary file) allows the lessons taught during the programme to be put into operational perspective. The study of a company from the three main financial, strategic and commercial perspectives is presented to a jury at the end of the programme.

  • International seminars

    The Master's programme also integrates a global and international approach to the business world. An international seminar of your choice is included in the curriculum to promote the international outlook of the participants. These seminars, taught in English, are provided by international visiting professors.

    Innovative teaching tools are used in the courses: business simulation, Crossknowledge e-learning platform, language laboratory, documentary and financial database, case methods, etc.

    By encouraging group work, practicing active teaching and favouring practical situations, the IAE trains professionals who excel in their field of specialisation but also in the management of change and interpersonal relations.

ADMISSION

  • Admission requirements

    - Higher education diploma: engineering diploma, Master's degree, Master's degree in any speciality or equivalent level (particularly foreign diplomas). A Validation of Professional Experience (VAP) may be considered.

    - Solid professional experience of at least 5 years

    - Satisfactory level of English
