MSc International Finance students welcoming professor Davis from Harvard Law School 

As part of their class in Corporate Governance our MSc International Finance students had the honor to welcome Professor Stephen Davis, Assoc. Director and Senior Fellow at Harvard Law School Programs on Corporate Governance and Institutional Investors. 
During this week, our students had the opportunity to discover the challenges raised by global corporates while dealing with the international investment funds. They also got an insigt into management of alignement of interests between shareholders, directors and managers.

Professor Davis came accompanied with prestigeous lecturers, each of them sharing their expertise with our students.

Professor Christian Strenger, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Investment, accompanied prof Davis on his lecture. Prof Strenger is also a Honorary Professor and Academic Director of the ‘Center for Corporate Governance’ at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, long term international partner of IAE Aix-Marseille. 

Philip Armstrong, Director at the Gavi Alliance

On Tuesday, students got to meet another prestigeous guest, Philip Armstrong, who is the is Director at the Gavi Alliance based in Geneva, Switzerland. 
He was previously the head of the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF), a joint World Bank/OECD initiative, from 2005 through 2012 and was then Senior Advisor from 2012 through 2015 in the Corporate Governance Group (CGG) of the International Finance Corporation when the GCGF was absorbed into the CGG.

And finally, students had the opportunity to meet Anne Marie-Jourdan, Chief Legal Officer at the Fonds de Reserve pour les Retraites (The French Reserve Fund).
